Enjoy The MA’s Smokehouse Experience in Bossier City
After serving the smoking community of Shreveport-Bossier for 40 years, MA’s Smokehouse opened its second location at 2917 Old Minden Road in Bossier City.
“We opened our Bossier location in November of 2015,” says Buddy Williams, manager. “We just felt like it was time to expand into Bossier so that we could better serve our customers across the river.”
While the Bossier store is smaller than MA’s main location on Pierremont Road in Town Oaks Shopping center, it has the same look and feel, offering:
• A smoking lounge
• A good selection of cigars
• MA’s most popular tobacco, pipes and accessories.
“We have a get-together in the lounge every Thursday with regulars who smoke while enjoying each other’s company,” says Brian Porter, a 20-year MA’s customer who now works as the Bossier location’s manager. “The culture of cigars brings guys together for friendship and camaraderie,” he says. “And to be fair, we have a lady who joins us every week as well!”
Thanks to its proximity to Barksdale Air Force Base, the Bossier location also welcomes a number of Air Force personnel. And it doesn’t hurt that the shop is next door to a gun store.
“Cigars and guns go well together,” quips Buddy.
